Lizaan van Rooyen
Writer & Director
Lizaan van Rooyen grew up in Bloemfontein, Free State. She has lived her entire childhood in Bloemfontein and after school, she moved to Jefferey’s Bay for a gap year wherein she practiced her artistry and learned about digital storytelling. Then she moved to Cape Town where she now studies at AFDA. Her love for storytelling and the dramatic arts started at a young age performing and creating while playing. Since then her love for film grew and one day aspires to create films that could bridge cultures and languages through its deep and meaningful message.

Mishka Titus
Sound designer & recorder
Mishka Titus was born in Cape Town and has lived here all her life. She has always had a passion for stories and all the ways that they can satisfy the soul and inspire conversation.
She aims to grow as a storyteller by learning from the industry professionals she will work under, bettering her skills in multiple departments and developing her own style.
Pascale Schoeman
Cinematographer & Colourist
She started her AFDA journey with dreams of becoming a performer, but soon realized her heart lies behind the camera. She is an avid Analogue (Film) Photographer, always trying to capture moments, and her passion for cinematography came from her eye for photography. Pascale's organizational skills have also made her very fond of the Digital Imaging Technician role on set, and she has a great appreciation for the Colour Grading process and how much the portal of colors can enhance a film.

Hannes Froneman
Editor
Hannes was born and raised in a small farming community outside Nelspruit, South Africa. From a young age, he has been interested in the making of films. He relocated to Cape Town in 2018 to pursue a career in editing and color grading. Since then he has built on his experience and enjoys every moment of it. What Hannes loves the most is that he can show his creative side while also telling meaningful and thought-provoking stories.

Emma Marriot
Costume Stylist & Designer
Emma Marriot brings her calming and creative nature to our crew. Being the sole designer behind costumes, she brings our characters to life in her own beautiful style. Emma’s love for costumes and design has also been prominent since a young age. Keep an eye out for her style.

DIT & Colourist
Abdul is a 22-year-old DIT, Colourist and Editor from Cape Town. Data & grading support Abdul’s passion for learning and understanding the digital imaging process, colour science and workflows.

Hillouise Odendaal
First Assitant Director & Music Composer
Hillouise always had a passion for music. She started playing the recorder and piano from a young age and from then found her passion for music and wanted to further pursue this interest. She only then began to compose music when she attended AFDA, Cape Town. From here her desire for score films began and she wishes to imbed the narrative of films with music which moves, connects and entices the audience to the characters and moments within the story.
Nina Goetz
Writer & Director
Nina Goetz grew up in a small village in Germany. In 2007 her family relocated to Cape Town. She has always been passionate about the art of story telling especially the ability to use stories to provoke thought and discussions around important issues. Her main goal is to get onto set, gain experience and keep learning as well as work on developing her voice as a story teller.

Janay Coetzee
Production Designer
Janay Coetzee’s creative spurt is that of an utmost value to our crew. She has always had a love for colour, design and fabricating beautiful ornaments, props and objects that create a diegetic and aesthetically pleasing world for the narrative.
Mieke van Zyl
Adriana - Lead Actress
Mieke is a young and passionate artist who aims to show life through different perspectives by uniting, inspiring and changing the world through the performing arts. She studied at New York Film Academy and received a diploma in Acting for Film. She is currently in her last year of studies at AFDA. She enjoys spending time with family, loved ones and putting God first in everything she does.
Maite Rakabe
Lesedi - Supporting Actress
Maite Rakabe was born in Limpopo, Polokwane and raised in Johannesburg. Her love for performing began from an early age and thoroughly enjoyed "make believe games" that involved acting, of course. She is currently completing her final year at AFDA, the South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance in Cape Town, specialising in Screen and Stage Acting. Maite would describe herself as an introverted extrovert that enjoys going on hikes and meditating when she's not performing. She is excited to start her career path in performing arts, as soon as she has graduated!
Angelique Erasmus
Susanna - Lead Actress
Angelique was born in Pretoria, South Africa. Although she moved almost every year and traveled along with it, her family ended up in a small town in South Africa called Vredendal. Angelique has always been the type of person who is interested in everything and wanted to do it all, but her heart belonged to art (no matter what style or form). Acting not only created an opportunity to for her to explore all her curiosities, but also allowed the possibility to be the blank canvas through which other artists could express their truths.

Transferring to AFDA Cape Town from Port Elizabeth, Lauren has aided in a key and crucial role in our journey for our crew. The love and light she embeds is that of the utmost necessary qualities for our crew.

Line Producer
The lovely and beauty that is Kimberly Kimeria joins us a important members in our crew. She designs a path for organization, structure and peace within the journey of our film. She brings a sense of comfort and tranquility even in the most stressful situations. Reigning all the way from Kenya to impart her gracious atmosphere towards our film
Divan Venter
Co Producer
Growing up in the small town of Queenstown, Divan has had a desire to write stories and produce narratives which amplify the voices of those that need a platform. From a young age Divan knew that telling stories is a vital aspect for relativity to connect people of different genders, races and cultures. Divan embodies that of sunshine and joy within our crew and paves a wave for conflict resolution.
